More than 2m people screened for Covid-19 in Limpopo

The Department of Health in Limpopo says more than 2.7 million people have been screened for coronavirus in the province.

The screening and testing campaign was launched on April 14 and meant to run for 10 days.
Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba says nearly 10 000 community healthcare workers have been deployed.
"By Friday.. they had managed to visit 801,019 households. In the process, they also screened 2,781,765 people.
“This constitute over 50% of the entire population of the province.”
The campaign will be extended for another four days to enable health authorities to reach more communities.
The province has recorded 31 cases of Covid-19 and 24 recoveries.
