SA coronavirus cases shoot up to 240
The number of people who have tested positive for the coronavirus has increase 240.
In a statement on Saturday, the Department of Health says there has been an increase of 38 since Friday’s announcement.
“It is also notable that the Eastern Cape has its first confirmed case. This patient is a 28-year-old female who had travelled to Germany.”
Gauteng province still has the highest amount of infections at 125.
