Sharp increase in Free State Covid-19 deaths

The Free State province has recorded an increase of 122 deaths in one day.
The latest Covid-19 statistics released by Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize on Wednesday evening, shows that the total coronavirus related deaths in the Free State has increased to 327.
On Wednesday, the cumulative number of virus related deaths across the country also breached the 9-thousand mark, standing at 9 298.

This is an increase of 414 deaths from Tuesday.
South Africa’s recovery rate continues to increase and now stands at 71%.
The total cumulative cases increased to 529 877, a total of 8 559 new cases during the latest 24-hour period.
