African swimmer Tatjana Schoenmaker joined Martin Bester to chat about the Olympics being moved to 2021.
Last year, Schoenmaker was named 'Sports Star of the Year' and 'Sportswoman of the Year' at the SA Sports Awards after she secured double gold at the World Student Games in Naples.
After competing in the 2018 Commonwealth Games, winning gold medals in the women's 100-metre breaststroke and the women's 200-metre breaststroke, she knows exactly what the world’s competition looks like.
However, the hard work and training is for nothing at the moment as the 2020 Olympics will be postponed until 2021.

Schoenmaker joined Breakfast with Martin Bester telephonically to speak about the announcement.
“We’ll definitely be ready. What is another year of training to be better, right? I’ll definitely be ready for 2021. It’s nice to know the waiting game is over. We do have time.”
An extra year of training will only benefit you.- Tatjana Schoenmaker
