4 hours walking in Cape Town as a homeless man

It took 10 hours for the woman in the original video to get 100+ catcalls and comments. It was shocking to see how women are objectified and degraded, but this is an issue just as serious. It took only 4 hours for 100+ people to ignore this homeless man in Cape Town asking for small change, wearing the only clothes he owns.
We are all guilty of turning a blind eye to those less fortunate than us, but this video might put things into perspective a little. What can we do to address the very real issue of poverty and homelessness within South Africa?
