Award-winning Refentse Morake set to perform at Jacaranda FM’s GMA Benefit Concert

Refentse Morake is one of the most loved Afrikaans singers.
The ‘Reisiger’ hitmaker came onto the music scene in 2015. This is after a neighbour shared a video of him singing ‘De la Rey’ on social media. The video went viral, reaching 160,000 views in 24 hours.
Refentse became an instant internet sensation. He was praised for his amazing vocals and unique talent.

He recorded his first album, 'My Hart Bly in 'n Taal', in 2016 with the help of Karen Zoid.
The album won the South African Music Award for 'The Best Selling Album of the Year'. Refentse has also won four Ghoema awards for the album.
Apart from all the awards, Refentse has also enjoyed success working with stars such as Ricus Nel and Adam Tas.
