Good Morning Angels: quadriplegic teen Henru Grobbelaar meets action superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger
Updated | By MornéJK
Single dad, Hendrik Grobbelaar, has been planning for his son Henru’s sweet 16 for weeks now. It’s a spitbraai and sokkie – and he’s selling tickets. Hendrik’s effort, however has a very long and painful history. The fact that Henru is turning 16 is a miracle. He was in a horrific car crash at the age of 9-months. Henru suffered severe brain injuries and doctors did not hold out hope for his survival. As a working single dad of four, Hendrik has cared for Henru through many scares, operations and much difficulty.
Hendrik Grobbelaar as a single father, has looked after his son Henu with an abundance of care, patience, sacrifice and most of all – love.
He is currently faced with a predicament: the RAF payments for Henu's accident have stopped due to admin complications that are being sorted, but in the meantime he needs a little financial help to foot the more than R12 000,00 a month bill to enable him to look after Henru.
ANGEL 1: Wilna Taljaard on behalf of the IDA Care Foundation

Next on the agenda is a call for contributions towards Henru for his 16th birthday on Thursday the 2nd of June.
Henru's father Hendrick is organising a dinner-and-dance party on Saturday 4 June. Tickets are on Facebook @ R150 each.
