Support for the vets who help their community pets for free
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
Good Morning Angels has donated R50,000 to WanderVet, which will allow them to sterilise 100 animals.

"Every animal deserves a life free from suffering."
That's the motivation behind WanderVet, a registered NPO that exists purely to assist struggling communities in better caring for the pets they love so much.
WanderVet founder, Dr Annarie Greyling, believes that education goes a long way in improving the lives of domestic animals – both working animals and pets.
Dr Greyling, who also runs a veterinary practice, says, "Most people do better when they know better."
However, the reality is that many people simply cannot afford the best for their pets, as they themselves are struggling to keep food on the table.
For these reasons, she started the WanderVet initiative to enable volunteers to provide free veterinary services in impoverished and rural communities.

"Once people understand the need for sterilisation, we provide this and other health services to animals for free."
Even though the doctors and healthcare practitioners work free of charge, it still costs an average of R500 per animal to sterilise – and that’s why they need all the funding they can get.
For more information and to support their efforts, visit the WanderVet website or find them on Facebook.

ORIGINAL REQUEST:
Good day,
I hope this message finds you well.
At WanderVet, a registered veterinary NPO, we believe that every animal deserves a life free from suffering.

Through our welfare outreaches and sterilisation campaigns across South Africa and around the world, we’re working hard to reduce stray populations, prevent disease, and improve the lives of pets and the communities they live in.
Our work has a direct and lasting impact, but we can’t do it alone. We are currently seeking corporate partners who share our vision and would like to make a meaningful contribution to animal welfare.
By partnering with WanderVet, your company will not only support critical veterinary care and sterilisation programmes but also demonstrate a commitment to social responsibility, compassion, and community development. Together, we can reach more underserved areas, treat more animals, and help break the cycle of suffering.
How you can help:
Sponsor a sterilisation campaign
Contribute to welfare outreach projects
Provide in-kind donations of veterinary supplies
Support transport and logistical needs
We would be honoured to discuss how your partnership can make a measurable difference. Please let us know if you would be open to a conversation about sponsorship opportunities so that we can tell you more about what we do!
Together, we can be the voice for those who cannot speak.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this opportunity to make a real impact.
Warm regards,
Benice Holloway
