An East Rand school community comes together for Juffrou Liebe
Good Morning Angels assisted Juffrou Liebe with some of her outstanding medical bills with a donation of R50,000.
Chanré Strydom is in Grade 7 and listens to Breakfast with Martin Bester every morning on her way to school with her sister and dad. She loves Good Morning Angels, and she loves her former maths teacher, Juffrou Liebe.
When she heard that Juffrou Liebe Keyser needed help with an operation and medical treatment, she asked her dad, Corné, to write to Good Morning Angels on her behalf.
Liebe, 26, has an operation scheduled on Friday to remove a lump from her groin - this formed after a previous operation and has caused her much pain and discomfort. Despite this, she is at school every day to do what she loves - teaching children maths.

Liebe's medical aid did not cover all the bills for her previous operation and none of her upcoming procedures. She needed R170,000 for Friday's operation and managed to raise the required funds with the help of her school community!
She still has unpaid bills that she is paying off and expects more to come, but for now, she can at least get the help she needs to be back to her full capacity to teach and inspire the next generation, like little Charné.

My naam is Chanré Strydom, 'n Gr 7 leerder en ons bly in Brakpan. Ons luister altyd na Good Morning Angels in die kar op pad skool toe en vanoggend het Liewe Jesus vir my gesê ek moet vir Good Morning Angels vra om Juffrou Liebe te help en ek het toe vir pappa gevra om my te help om ‘n briefie vir oom hulle te skryf.

In my vorige skool was Juffrou Liebe my Wiskunde Juffrou en elke kind was vir haar spesiaal. Ek en my sussie was haar Rooikappie en Snippie en so het sy vir elkeen ‘n plekkie in haar hart gehad. Ons is nou in ‘n ander skool en sy het ook ‘n pos by ‘n ander skool in Benoni gekry, maar sy is nog deel van ons.
Ek stuur haar BackaBuddy storie vir oom Martin asook haar verslae en kwotasie van die spesialis en ‘n paar fotos. My hart is so seer dat sy soveel pyn moet hê en ek wil so mooi vra of Good Morning Angels haar nie kan help om die volle bedrag vir haar operasie bymekaar te maak nie?
