GMA Coronavirus Support: Helping Patrick, a Soshanguve school bus driver, feed his family

'I have not had any income since 18 March 2020, when the schools were closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.'
BACKGROUND: Hi everyone at Good Morning Angels. My name is Patrick Malika and I live in Soshanguve South. I live with my wife, two daughters and one grandchild. Ordinarily I work as scholar bus driver for a small bus company here in Soshanguve which renders service to local schools.
I earn R1000, 00 a week which is not much, but I'm able to put food on the table. I have not had any income since 18 March 2020, when the schools were closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Two weeks into the lockdown, we've started running out food and money. My wife is unemployed and I'm the sole breadwinner in the house. Our situation is very desperate. My mother bought us a bag of potatoes and a bag of mealie meal when she got her SASSA-grant, but that is finished.
I would like to plead with you guys to find it in your hearts to assist us with food.
May the good Lord bless you in advance.
Warm regards, Patrick.
