Good Morning Angels Golf Day 2024 raises R4,85-million to Change Lives for Good
With the help, contribution, effort, creativity, and generosity of our participants and sponsors, we managed to raise R4,85-million for the Good Morning Angels Golf Day 2024 to change lives for good!
The Good Morning Angels Golf Day 2024 on Thursday, 5 September, at Centurion Irene Club was an amazing success. With the help, contribution, effort, creativity and generosity of our participants and sponsors, we raised R4,85-million to change lives for good!
Some 60 companies contributed to the day, and we cannot thank you enough!
We would also like to extend a special thank you to our gracious hosts, Irene Country Club!

Golf:
- Toco Lifting with 107 points (headed by Jonty Walls and Kurt Darren)
- Outsurance with 105 points – Carl Louw and team
- GMA Celebs 1 with 101 points – Paul Harris, Ampie, Altus Thiart & first-time golfer, Kirsten!
- MLM Logistics with 100 points - Drikus Joubert and team
- MSC Cruises with 99 points, thank you Ross Volk and team
Longest Day went to the Gouws family – what they lacked in technique and golfing ability, they made up in gees.
Last 4-ball: Raul Lima from Auto Magic Centurion won the bid for our "Last Fourball auction" to play with Martin Bester for R150,000. He then invited second highest bidder, Damian Morgan from Brakecore Supply in Ermelo, to play with them. Damian also gave R75,000 towards this bid to bring it to R225,000 for the last 4-ball.
Auction:
The auction raised R1-million for the Good Morning Angles Fund - thank you to our prize sponsors and buyers.
Rock Blend Ready Mix bought the Jacaranda FM advertising campaign valued at R500,000 in air-time for R450,000. Thank you to Kevin Nelson and team for all your support!

Hole sponsor competition:
During the Good Morning Angels Golf Day, we ran a special competition for our incredible hole sponsors, who went out of their way to make the day fun, refreshing, and adding to the Good Morning Angels Fund in creative ways.
We announced last week that the Best Hole Activation will win R150,000, along with a second and third prize.
Our judges had a very hard time choosing, but after crunching the numbers, the results are in:
3rd place: Hole 2 (with 64 points): Saxeni Holdings wins R50,000 airtime on Jacaranda FM.
2nd place: Hole 14 (with 65 points): Capital Legacy wins R75,000 airtime on Jacaranda FM.
1st place: Hole 15 (with 68 points): M&D Radiology/ JHB Surgical Hospital wins R150,000 airtime on Jacaranda FM!
