Mamma Anna: The guardian Angel to vulnerable children
Good Morning Angels and Pick n Pay have teamed up to support Mamma Anna as she makes moments of magic happen for the children in the informal settlements of Zandspruit and Honeydew at her Lufuno Creche.
Mamma Anna Ncube is a 68-year-old mother to many children in the informal settlements of Zandspruit and Honeydew.
Her Lufuno Creche is a haven for children, although many of the families and parents cannot pay for the care she gives. She also looks after orphans who just arrive at her door and she does soup kitchens for street children.

She dedicates her life and income to the children and appreciates any help she can get. One of her supporter is Penny Hauer, who wrote to Good Morning Angels on Mamma Anna’s behalf.

Good afternoon beautiful humans
I hope you are well today. I'm trying to help for Mamma Anna and her creche and orphanage, Lufuno Creche.
She does so much for the community in Zandspruit Honeydew.
She has 84 children in the Creche. The parents are living in a township. They often don't pay Anna.
She has orphans who are dropped on her doorstep.

She is a wonderful, loving, Christian woman. She goes above and beyond.
Mamma Anna always needs:
- Baby clothes
- Food
- Financial assistance... their graduation is soon

- Mamma Anna is 68 and does this with passion in her heart.
