Mom loses her husband while caring for her son with cancer
Good Morning Angels and Pick n Pay are supporting Juanita Taute-Peel and her 13-year-old son, Dylan with a donation to cover groceries, nappies, and other expenses, along with funds to create new, cherished memories.
Juanita Taute-Peel, from Randburg, became a single mom in July when her husband, Jacques, tragically passed away from a heart attack.
He was not ill, and his sudden passing came as a terrible shock to her and their son, Dylan.
Juanita works from home as a nail technician so she can care for Dylan, who is battling cancer and other health conditions. Dylan relies on a feeding tube and wears nappies.

In light of this heartbreaking situation, one of Juanita's clients, Mariana – who has since become a close friend – reached out to Good Morning Angels for help.
Mariana shared that both Juanita’s and Dylan's birthdays are just around the corner – on December 16 and 17, respectively. This will be their first birthday without their beloved husband and father. They will also face their first Christmas together, just the two of them, while financial pressures continue to grow.
