Kamogelo Nkosi, from Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga, finished his B.Ed degree at the University of Pretoria last year. Now qualified to teach Natural Sciences and Maths Literacy at the high school level, his studies were made possible through an NSFAS bursary.

Nkosi was raised by his grandfather, and after his passing, his older sister became his guardian.

He grabbed the opportunity to study with both hands and worked hard with limited resources and support to finish his degree.

However, his final year was not covered by the bursary, leaving him with an outstanding amount of R40,500 that must be settled before he can officially receive his degree.

He also wants to attend his graduation at Tuks next month, but simply cannot afford the travel, accommodation, and graduation gown costs, as his family relies on social grants.

Nkosi desperately wants to find a job as a teacher to give back to his sister for all she has done for him.

He has tried everything he could to raise the money, including entering the Million and Change competition and writing to Good Morning Angels.

REQUEST FOR: Kamogelo Nkosi

ANGEL: The Good Morning Angels Fund NPC

SPONSORING: The Good Morning Angels Fund will pay off Nkosi's outstanding class fees of R40,500. We will also help Nkosi with funding towards his graduation clothing and robe, as well as transport and accommodation for him and his sister, who helped raise him, to attend the graduation ceremony in Pretoria next month. That’s a total donation of R50,000.

ORIGINAL REQUEST:

Morning Angels,

I have been trying to get my finances in order so that I can pay my outstanding fees and graduation costs, but I have had no luck. I tried to reach out to the show before, also without any luck.

I even entered the Million and Change competition with hopes of winning, but I guess luck was just not on my side this time.

I am reaching out once more as my graduation date is approaching. I would like to ask the Angels to help out wherever they can with whatever they have. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

It could be a graduation gown, accommodation for the day of 21 May, as the graduation ceremony takes place on 22 May, or help to settle the fees I owe the University of Pretoria. Those who are eager to help can make the payment directly to the institution's account.

Any response will be appreciated.

Regards,
Kamogelo Nkosi
