Natalie Du Toit: The Laureus Sporting Moment Award 2020

South Africa's star swimmer Natalie Du Toit is up for the 'Laureus Sporting Moment Award' at the 2020 Laureus World Sports Awards.

Natalie Du Toit is a much-loved swimmer across the globe. Not just because she is fantastic at the sport, but because she has shown the world that anything can be overcome with the right mindset.
Du Toit, who had her left leg amputated at the age of 17, fought throughout her career to break barriers - and she did just that when she competed at both the Olympics and Commonwealth Games alongside able-bodied swimmers.

'The Laureus Sporting Moment Award' will be given to the winner of a fan vote. The initial vote started with 22 moments, but is now down to a top five.
Du Toit has made that top 5 and is in line to win her second Laureus World Sports Awards accolade, after taking home the 'Sportsperson of the Year with a Disability' award in 2010.
