With the vaccine nearly available to all ages over 18, international travelling plans may be in your near future.
A report released by the international airline consultancy group Skytrax ranks the top international airports in the world, according to traveller experiences.

The surveys conducted for the reports evaluate the traveller experiences across airport services, such as check-ins, security, immigration process, etc.

Of our airports, three SA airports feature in the top 100 rankings, with Cape Town International airport taking the highest spot at 33rd. However, it ranked first in Africa.
King Shaka airport in Durban ranked at 52nd place overall, and OR Tambo International airport finished the local features at 54th place.
Taking the top spot Globally is Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar. Haneda International in Tokyo remains in second place and rounding off the top three airports in the world is Singapore’s Changi International airport.
The Skytrax report took place during the Covid-19 pandemic, which harmed travel. Based on the travel restrictions in most countries, many travellers voted on the favourite airport based on previous journeys.
