Below are tips to help you get through the last couple of weeks of the year:
Know when you are reaching burn-out
Knowledge is power! Know when you are reaching burnout so that you can act accordingly. Pay attention to your body. Fatigue can lead to deterioration of your health and it is important to act as soon as possible. Seek help by speaking to a professional.
Be intentional about getting rest
Your lifestyle counts. Although there are many events happening around this time of the year, you don't have to attend every single event you are invited to, especially if it's going to require too much of your time. Prioritise rest and learn to say no.

Work when you feel most energised
If possible, depending on your type of work, schedule tasks for when you feel most energised. Do as much work as possible when your energy levels are high. This will make up for times when you will be feeling exhausted.
Switch off the gadgets
Although watching TikTok videos and scrolling through IG can be relaxing for some, for others, screen time can suck energy from you. If being on the screen saps your energy, learn to switch off or better manage your screen time.
Eat right
Many people experience a dip in energy after eating, especially after consuming unhealthy foods. The right diet can help boost your energy levels. Read: Five energy-boosting foods to combat fatigue.
