Five celebrities who tested positive for COVID-19

Some of these celebrities have beaten the deadly virus, while some are still battling it.
Jacaranda FM presenter Liesl Laurie tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week.
Although the former Miss South Africa has not fully recovered from the deadly virus, she says she is healing day by day.
"For about 18 months my Medical Doctor has managed to steer clear of the dreaded Covid-19 virus but a couple of days ago he (read we) tested positive. What a crazy, HECTIC experience but as you can understand I am well taken care of. Today is a good day and with each day of this rollercoaster ride that passes I feel more and more like myself. We are on the mend and would like to thank all our friends and family for the prayers. We are slowly but surely healing day by day," she wrote on Instagram.
Leandie du Randt
Leandie du Randt also took to Instagram to share her struggles with COVID-19.
The actress and producer thanked her doctors who were helping her on her road to recovery.
"I am now also Covid Positive but I am really fine guys just want to say please be safe and careful in these times. Covid is real 🥺😕😔 My heart goes out to so many loved ones who has been badly hit by this terrible virus. Grateful for my amazing doctor helping me through this @celestemien," she wrote on Instagram.
AKA
Award-winning South African rapper, AKA, has recovered from COVID-19.
He announced last year July that he tested positive for the virus.

Minnie Dlamini Jones
Earlier in July, South African media personality Minnie Dlamini Jones tested positive for COVID-19.
“My family tested this morning for COVID and we are negative. #Blessed #Grateful Thank you for the outpour of love and support, it was war!!! #StayHomeStaySafe,” wrote Dlamini Jones on Instagram.
Criselda Dudumashe
Media personality Criselda Dudumashe opened up about her struggles with COVID-19.
She tested positive for the virus in June.
"Post recovery not easy but with my solid support system I shall overcome," said the television presenter.
