Hilarious new 'Dad Bodcast' makes its debut today
The Dad Bodcast with Joe Mann and Themba Robin is a
brand new JacPod Original podcast where two dads share their experiences, joys,
and sometimes failures in the wonderful journey that is parenting.
"Being a dad is a blessing, but it also comes with ups and downs, so it’s important to make it fun and meaningful," says Joe Mann, a dad of three.
Joe Mann has been on radio since 2001 and he’s no stranger to the Jacaranda FM family, presenting Sport on The Drive with Rob & Roz every weekday.
Season One of The Dad Bodcast with Joe Mann and Themba Robin is all about beginnings. The dads chat about their journeys to fatherhood and their relationships with their own fathers.
"This is a podcast that doesn’t take itself too seriously; a fun and candid show that is definitely not a how-to guide, more of a how-it’s-going guide," says Themba, an actor, funnyman, and dad.
We start off with a double release this week. The first podcast (above) is a short overview of what to expect from the series, with the guys stating categorically that it is not a how-to guide, but more of a shared journey.
After the precursor, we then move to the origins story which comes with some wonderful anecdotes about sleepless nights and naming rights.
