Jo-Ann Strauss is one of South Africa’s most recognisable personalities after a career spanning over 15 years in media and business.

Strauss is so much more than just a TV personality and former Miss SA - she is an astute businesswoman who serves on the advisory board of Africa’s leading business school as well as Africa’s biggest media company, Media24.
She also works with a variety of charitable causes, including UNICEF and Stop Hunger Now to protect the most vulnerable members of society.
Strauss has been the Master of Ceremonies at various national and international events and conferences ranging from the World Conference on Computers in Education to the International Islamic Finance and Investment Conference.

Her passion for creating a spirit of entrepreneurship in South Africa is also very evident, she has an inspirational blog titled Modern Mommy, which she uses to inspire and inform mothers across the globe. Strauss has presented TV for many years in SA and internationally and also produced various media properties as well as her #SocialStar competition which garnered over 4 million social media interactions.
Strauss' reign started with a pageant, but more than two decades later, she still continues to lead and inspire as a #FearlessWoman.
