A man in Vietnam has been sentenced to five years in prison for spreading the coronavirus
Updated | By Lifestyle Reporter
Globally, people are trying their best to curve the infection rate of COVID 19. Although some countries have taken a stricter approach than others, we cannot deny that the virus has affected all of us.
A Vietnam man by the name of Le Van Tri recently landed himself in deep trouble when he breached the country’s home quarantine rules.
He was convicted and sentenced to five years in jail. His sin? Spreading dangerous infectious diseases to other people. This came after he travelled home from a coronavirus hot spot.

The country released a report stating that three additional people became infected because of the negligent actions of Mr Tri.
