Erin Honeycutt from the USA broke the Guinness World Record for the longest beard on a living female.
It is not unusual for women to grow hair on their face.
However, many choose to shave any beard that grows to avoid being teased.
Erin Honeycutt from the USA is proud to grow her beard. In fact, she broke the Guinness World Record for the longest beard on a living female.
Her beard measures 30cm, beating the previous record held by 75-year-old Vivian Wheeler, whose beard measured 25.5cm.
According to the YouTube video, Erin has been growing her beard for over a year and she does not use any artificial hormones or supplements.

She just started growing her beard after she got tired of shaving.
“I was probably shaving at least three times a day,” she told Guinness World Records after being diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), which causes excess hair growth.
However, Erin says having a long beard makes her feel like she is in some "weird man club now because every guy that just walks pass by gives me some kind of nod".
She says her beard marks her as being more male.
Erin has been celebrating her world record.
“I never thought that I would be able to attain or achieve a goal that would let me be in a book, and it’s just kind of a nice thing to be recognised for, even though it’s just something that happens naturally for me,” she told Guinness World Records.
