New airplane feature will allow women to avoid sitting next to men

IndiGo, one of India's largest airlines, is set to launch a new booking feature which will allow women to check the gender of their flight neighbour before making the booking.
Pre-booking your seat on a flight is not a new thing.
But there is an airline that is working on a new feature that is set to allow women to choose which gender they want to sit next to on their flight.
IndiGo, one of India's largest airlines, is set to launch a new booking option where females can make their preferences heard when it comes to which gender they prefer to sit next to.

"IndiGo is proud to announce the introduction of a new feature that aims to make the travel experience more comfortable for our female passengers," the airline said in a statement, reports MSN.
The airline will reportedly introduce the new feature on a trial basis.
It also revealed that the new feature is based on market research and is currently in pilot mode, aligning with its #GirlPower ethos.
"We are committed to providing an unparalleled travel experience for all our passengers, and this new feature is just one of the many steps we are taking towards achieving that goal," read the statement.
