One last spin at Jacaranda FM for DJ Jazzy D

After almost a decade at Jacaranda FM, DJ Jazzy D – The Groovemaster of Old School Classic and Soul music, will be playing his last mix on 13 May.

Jacaranda FM announced today that DJ Jazzy D’s final show will air on Saturday 13 May for his final evening show - 'The House Party with DJ Jazzy D' evening show.
"Our decision to end this chapter together was carefully considered over time, and both DJ Jazzy D and Jacaranda FM are parting ways with nothing but love for music and each other. We have a plan in place for the three slots that Jazzy so beautifully crafted," says Deirdre King, Managing Director at Jacaranda FM.

Whether you've put your feet up after Sunday lunch to listen to 'Sunday Sessions with DJ Jazzy D' or had a house party on a Friday and Saturday night, DJ Jazzy D embodies Jacaranda FM's vision to share More Music You Love.
"My decision to leave Jacaranda FM was not an easy one, they've been my family for nine years and I only expected to be here for a couple of years. To see my shows, grow from strength to strength for almost a decade at a station like Jacaranda FM, is any DJ’s dream. I'll be moving on to other projects that will be announced at a later stage. I want to thank every listener who tuned in, partied with me and took a step back in time to revisit some of the best musicians who came before us. Dankie, dit was my eer," said DJ Jazzy D.
DJ Jazzy D's passions include more than just spinning the decks. The charismatic DJ also has a big heart and passion for helping those who can’t help themselves through his organization – 'Feed A Family'. He often uses his social media platforms to rally for communities and people who need a helping hand.
