Princess Eugenie and Meghan Markle both follow this parenting rule

Princess Eugenie's parenting tips are totally relatable.
The 33-year-old shared her advice on a recent episode of Kate Thorton's 'White Wine Question Time' podcast.
Princess Eugenie has two children with her husband, Jack Brooksbank. They welcomed their son August in 2021. His little brother joined the family in 2023. Their nicknames are Augie and Ernie.
One of the main topics on the podcast was motherhood, and Princess Eugenie spoke candidly about her parenting style.
There's one main rule that her sons have to follow in the Brooksbank household and it all has to do with manners.
"Manners maketh the man. I’m trying to do that with my kids right now," she told Kate.

Princess Eugenie, who is the first cousin of Prince Harry and Prince William, is not the only royal family member who is stressing the importance of manners.
Her cousin-in-law Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, is also a fan of the proverb. During an interview with The Cut in 2022, Meghan revealed that she was teaching her son, Prince Archie, all about manners.
"We always tell him: ‘Manners make the man. Manners, manners, manners, manners, manners.’ ”
Meghan is also mom to two-year-old Princess Lilibet.

Elsewhere in the interview, Princess Eugenie discussed her children's personalities.
“My kids are so wonderful. Augie is a two-and-a-half-year-old firecracker and just listens to me, really, I don’t know why. And Ernie smiles the whole time. So, they’re really easy and wonderful boys," she told Kate.
Princess Eugenie also revealed that the one thing "tearing out" her hair as a parent at the moment is feeding times.
But on the plus side, both her boys are good sleepers - just like her!
"If there was a tournament in the Olympics of sleeping, I think I would win it. I could sleep for Great Britain as a national sport. I think my boys have gained that talent, and so they are deep, deep sleepers. I hate to say this to all mums listening, but they are really, really good sleepers.”
