'Star Trek' legend William Shatner to become first member of the iconic show to go to space

William Shatner, who played the legendary Captain James T. Kirk in 'Star Trek', is really going to space.
Although plans are for the actor to go into space, Blue Origin announced that the flight had been delayed due to anticipated winds.

The history-making flight carrying William Shatner was scheduled to take off on the 12th of October. But the team is now aiming for the 13th of October.
William, aged 90, will also be the oldest man to travel into space. The trip will take him and the NS-18 rocket crew beyond the Karman line, 100 kilometres high.

The reason for inviting the acting legend? The hype has helped maintain excitement around the space tourism sector.
