"If you do too much of anything — you’re going to suffer eventually,” says the oldest male alive!

The elderly man was born in Liverpool on 26 August 1912.
Speaking to Guinness World Records, John said he is just lucky to be alive.

When asked how he feels after learning that he is the oldest man alive, he said he felt no different.
"I think it is just luck," he said.
The 111-year-old says he eats what he loves.
"I don't have a special diet. I don't eat steak and chips, but I eat fish and chips," said the old man.
However, he says he doesn't smoke and rarely drinks.
“If you drink too much or you eat too much or you walk too much — if you do too much of anything — you’re going to suffer eventually,” Tinniswood told Guinness World Records.
The grandfather said he is grateful to be alive.
"It’s pure luck. You either live long or you live short, and you can’t do much about it," he said.
