As a result, the bakkies' standard manufacturer warranty, as well as service plan, remain intact while the entire package – including the price of the base of the vehicle and cost of the armouring kit – can be fully financed.
The kit takes just three weeks to install at SVI's factory outside the Tshwane district and SVI Business Development Director, Nicol Louw, mentioned: "Already well proven in the field, our Stopgun V2.0 package has also passed Toyota’s rigorous durability test, which in itself is the ultimate stamp of approval."

Gunports are standard but can be removed upon request, and the pricing includes a front suspension upgrade as well as upgraded door hinges. Additionally, the rear bumper is also toughened as standard, however, SVI maintains the offer of a wide choice of armoured packages to suit a variety of vehicles and Single/Double-Cab bakkies.
Prices range from R588,000 to slightly more than R1,2-million, depending on the type of vehicle and level of protection required.
