Burger King offers vegan burger option

Vegan people can now enjoy ordering burgers at one of the biggest restaurants in South Africa – Burger King. Veganism is gaining popularity in South Africa.
As more people are paying attention to the importance of eating healthily and protecting the environment, food outlets and restaurants are amending their menus to cater for this.
Burger King has become the latest restaurant to announce that it will be including a vegan burger on its menu.

It says this is to offer its customers more options.
“At Burger King® we believe in choice, and more importantly, eating Your Way®! That is why we want to be the global leaders in Plant-based alternatives in the quick-service industry,” says Burger King.

The restaurant says the burgers will not compromise on flavour.
“Our aim is to do this by offering vegan, vegetarian, and plant-based alternatives that do not compromise on flavour or price,” says the restaurant.
Some of the vegan options include a plant-based whopper, the vegan royale burger, and vegan nuggets.
