Siba Mtongana continues to enjoy global success in her career. The chef was recently featured on Australia's popular breakfast show, 'Sunrise'.

She was interviewed by 'Sunrise' presenter Sam Mac, who attended the Time Out Market in Cape Town. He was at the event filming segments for show.

Siba prepared a delicious meal of chakalaka and peri-peri prawns, sharing how popular the relish is in South Africa.

"I've prepared a chakalaka, a very popular South African relish made of onions, tomatoes, peppers, carrots and some beans," she told Sam.

The chef added that anyone who doesn't "know what chakalaka is" is not South African.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Siba expressed her gratitude for being featured on the show.

"To my Australian fam, catch me LIVE this morning for an interview on @sunriseon7 at 08:10am your time ❤️🇦🇺🇿🇦🍽️🌍🌏Good morning!" she wrote on Instagram on Thursday.

The chef wrote about how grateful she was to have been recognised for her outstanding work in the culinary space.

"#FB Good morning! Reflecting and deeply honoured to have been recognized by Malaysia’s prestigious Tatler magazine as one of the 7 Food Goddesses From Around The World! To be featured alongside the iconic @nigellalawson and @rachaelray, whose work in the food space I have long admired, is truly humbling.

"I’m also thrilled to be in the company of the phenomenal @ilisulaiman, @patijinich, @ms.debbiewong, and @amritaraichand, who are powerhouses in the own countries. Tatler celebrating the art of food across cultures," she captioned her post.
