Gin and tonic – Four delicious recipes
Updated | By Poelano Malema
19 October is International Gin & Tonic Day. To celebrate, we bring you four gin and tonic cocktail recipes you can make at home.

With the festive season approaching and spring well underway, many South Africans are cooling down and quenching their thirst with several drinks.
Gin and tonic has been enjoyed by people from all over the world for centuries.
It dates back to the 1700s when there was an outbreak of malaria in India. To solve the problem, tonic water was mixed with gin, sugar, and lime. That is how gin and tonics began.
