How to make a quick and easy jam turnover
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
Food blogger, Landi Govender, says her jam turnovers recipe is "pretty easy to make".

You only need seven ingredients to make these delicious jam turnovers. The Tocka Blog's Landi Govender says her recipe is super easy to follow as she uses store bought puff pastry.
"I love keeping pastry in my freezer for 'emergencies'," she says. And there is no bigger food emergency than satisfying your sweet tooth with a quick and easy after-dinner treat.
Landi's jam turnovers recipe is made up of layers of buttery crisp pastry, jam, whipped cream, and fresh fruit.
Here's how to make them:
Jam Turnovers
Ingredients:1 sheet all-butter puff pastry
1 large egg, whisked
Dark brown sugar
Strawberry jam
Strawberries
100g whipped cream
Icing sugar
Method:
Heat the oven to 180C. Prepare a baking sheet with baking paper.
Cut the pastry into triangles and brush with egg. Sprinkle with sugar and bake for 15 minutes or until browned and puffy.
Once cooled, slice and fill with strawberry jam, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream. Dust with icing sugar before serving.
