South African man crowned best Starbucks barista in EMEA

Teddy Nzama has put South Africa on the map after being crowned the best barista at an international competition that took place last week in London.

Teddy, who works at Starbucks in Florida Road, Durban, came out tops, beating 15,000 other Starbucks employees. He has been crowned the best barista across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
This is after he battled it out with 29 finalists.

The competition took place over three days in London. The finalists competed for the best latte.
