- Roses need to be planted in any soil that is well-drained and rich in organic matter.
- Roses do best when they are protected from the hot afternoon sun, yet they need to be planted in a sunny position. They should receive six to eight hours of sunlight daily.
- When it comes to watering, roses must be watered according to the season. In the late spring and summer, it is recommended that you water them with at least 15 litres per week. In early Spring and Autumn, they can be watered twice per week with 10 litres per week as the maximum and in Winter you can water them with five litres per week at least once a week.
- When it comes to fertilising, you can fertilise once a month.
- They need to be pruned towards the end of July to stimulate new growth and prolific flowering.
