Indoor plants that are easy to grow
Updated | By Poelano Malema
These plants can easily grow in the comfort of your home.
Whether you have a garden or not, you can enjoy the benefits of having these plants in your home.
Growing plants indoors, especially herbs, allows you to avoid worrying about spacing outside. It also makes your home look gorgeous and can be therapeutic. Plants also improve the quality of indoor air.
Below are three plants that thrive indoors
Herbs
Herbs such as basil, chives, parsley, sage, mint, thyme, oregano, rosemary, and cilantro can be grown indoors as year-round houseplants.
You just need the right temperature, the right amount of water and soil, proper air circulation and light. To help them thrive, it is recommended that they be exposed to at least six hours of direct sunlight.
In the winter season, you can place them in the warmest room in your house.

African violet
African violets are one of the most popular plants. They can be grown all year long and easily adapt to indoor environments. They are also easy to care for and will blossom as long as they have the right amount of light, water, and food.
Their compact size makes them easy to have in different spots - by the window, on top of your desktops, or on any table in your home.
@sacredelements Keeping African violets happy in your home from our experience so far: ~use room temperature water, never cold (self watering pots are great for this reason) ~keep them in a very brightly lit, slightly humid, warm environment. ~kitchen windowsills and brightly lit bathroom windows are ideal spots as the ambient humidity is a wonderful recreation of their natural environment ~ pinch off expired blooms to encourage new flowers to grow ~ apply Sacred Soil Tonic once a week with each watering from spring to summer #sacredelements #plantsoftiktok #plantcaretips #sacredsoiltonic #africanviolet ♬ missedcalls (sped up) - Kudasaibeats & sped up
Aloe Vera
Aloe vera has tremendous benefits. It is popular because of its medicinal properties. It purifies the air and has numerous medical benefits.
The plant's topical use includes treatment for skin conditions, burns, wounds, and dental plaque, among other things.
Aloe can be grown indoors and doesn't require much for it to grow.

Ensure the aloe plant gets as much light as possible, however, don't place it in direct sun as this can burn its tender skin.
The best position is to place it on a window with bright, indirect sunlight.
Aloes are killed by overwatering, so water the plant about once every two weeks.
