Updated | By Lifestyle Reporter
It is shocking to see the living conditions of some people. A man based in the UK has been found living in a council slum flat for the past 17 years unable to breathe.

Mehdi Sheikh has been living in hell for over a decade in his South East London flat. The flat he lives in is covered in thick black mould on the walls and has faeces-infested water seeping down the walls.

Due to the living condition, Sheikh now relies on a respirator to breathe. He explains that he wakes up every night in breathless fatigue and with a congested chest.

The local council in the area found the condition of the flat “unfit for human habitation”.
Since his living condition was brought to light, he has now been moved to a hotel and is waiting to be rehomed.
