Adam Levine is spilling the beans on Maroon 5's next big music project.

Levine, who is the band's lead singer, stopped by 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' on Monday night.

"There's been rumours of a new Maroon 5 song, there's been rumours of maybe a new album, there's been rumours of a tour, and yet I've heard nothing," Fallon said.

Levine decided to set the record straight right there and then.

"I'm gonna confirm, the rumours are true," he said.

The 'Animals' singer said "there are details" about the new album but he "cannot divulge all the details".

"But the details are basically roughly, there's a song coming at the end of the month-ish, and, yeah, I'm really excited about it. The album is coming over the summer, non-specifically around the summertime.

"And then even more non-specifically, there is a tour coming in the fall-ish," he added.

The last time Maroon 5 released an album was 2021's 'Jordi'.

Five singles were released from the album, including 'Memories', 'Beautiful Mistakes' and 'Lost'.

Levine also celebrated 'Girls Like You' featuring Cardi B reaching one billion views on YouTube.

"That's a weird one. That's what really feels strange and surreal. That's like part two. It's the same video from before but with some other shots. It wasn't even the main video. It's a behind-the-scenes kind of thing. It's just so weird and crazy."

Their single, 'Don’t Wanna Know' featuring Kendrick Lamar, also joined the Billions Club. In March, it surpassed one billion streams on Spotify.

The single, which was released in 2016, was the lead single on their album, 'Red Pill Blues'.

"'Don’t Wanna Know' has hit 1 BILLION streams on @spotify making it our 12th song to hit a billion! We were told this is more than any other band which translates to ‘You have the greatest fans on earth.’ Thank you for continuing to listen!" Maroon 5 said.
