Ariana Grande pours her heart out in her new song, 'Hampstead'.

The track is one of six new bonus songs on the deluxe edition of her seventh studio album, 'Eternal Sunshine'.

The song caught the attention of her fans as it appears to address the criticism she faced for dating her 'Wicked' co-star Ethan Slater.

She sings in the song's lyric video:

"I left my heart at a pub in Hampstead
And I misplaced my mind in a good way
Threw away my reputation, but saved us more heartache
Yes, I know it seems f***ked up and you're right
But quite frankly, you’re still wrong about everything
So far off, your seat's nowhere near the table
But I find something sweet in your peculiar behaviour
Cause I think to be so dumb must be nice."

Grande and Slater reportedly met in December 2022, while filming 'Wicked'.

Both were married then – Grande to real estate broker Dalton Gomez and Slater to clinical psychologist Lilly Jay.

Slater and Jay also welcomed their son in August 2022.

In July 2023, rumours started to swirl that Grande and Dalton had separated. Just days later, new reports claimed that she was dating Slater.

Grande filed for divorce in September of that year. One week later, the paparazzi spotted the new couple at Disney World.

Slater officially filed for divorce in New York in July 2023 after five years of marriage. The divorce was finalised a few months later, in September.

Social media users speculated that the new couple had cheated on their spouses.

Jay took a swipe at Grande in an interview with Page Six, saying the 'Thank U, Next' singer "isn't a girl's girl".

"My family is just collateral damage."

She also opened up about her divorce in an essay for The Cut in December 2023.

"I confidently moved to another country with my 2-month-old baby and my husband to support his career. Consumed by the magic and mundanity of new motherhood, I didn't understand the growing distance between us," Jay wrote.

The newly single mom added, "I really never thought I would get divorced. Especially not just after giving birth to my first child and especially not in the shadow of my husband's new relationship with a celebrity."

Grande, who had previously dated Big Sean, Mac Miller, and Pete Davidson, appeared unfazed by the online hate she was receiving.

She sang in her 2024 hit song, 'Yes, and?':

"Now, I'm so done with caring
What you think, no, I won't hide
Underneath your own projections
Or change my most authentic life."

The lyrics of another part of the song read:

"Don't comment on my body, do not reply
Your business is yours and mine is mine
Why do you care so much whose d**k I ride?"
