Ariana Grande has asked fans to stop sending hateful messages to people in her life following the release of her latest album, 'Eternal Sunshine'.
Ariana Grande's latest album, 'Eternal Sunshine', covers a lot of personal stuff, including the pain she previously suffered.
Following the release, some of her fans took it upon themselves to address those they believe have hurt Ariana.
In an Instagram Story, the star called out fans who have sent hateful messages to people in her life following their interpretation of her latest album.
“I just wanted to say anyone that is sending hateful messages to the people in my life based on your interpretation of this album is not supporting me and is absolutely doing the polar opposite of what i would ever encourage (and is also entirely misinterpreting the intention behind the music)," she wrote on IG.
"I ask that you please do not," she added.
The singer said this is not how she wants support from her fans.
"It is not how to support me. It is the opposite,” she wrote in an Instagram Story posted Saturday afternoon (March 9).
