The top eight aspiring music stars picked from about 2,000 online auditions after a countrywide talent search will be coached by mentors Elvis Blue, Tarryn Lamb, Monique Steyn, and Dewald Wasserfall.
THE JUDGES
Theuns Jordaan and Corlea Botha, as well as Barry Pretorius, the director of the 'Afrikaans is Groot' mega-concerts, will weigh in on the contestants’ performances weekly. It is, however, Coleske Artists’ big boss, Arnold Coleske, who decides whether a contestant loses their contract or moves one step closer to the 'Afrikaans is Groot' stage, where the eventual winner of 'Die Kontrak' will be crowned.
