Bruno Mars celebrates 'Die With a Smile' milestone
Bruno Mars is starting 2025 on a music high...
Another day, another week at number one for Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga.
Their single, 'Die With a Smile', spent its third week in a row at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart. Released in August 2024, it became an instant hit, debuting at number three.
However, it would be months before it earned its first number one on the Hot 100 in early January 2025. 'Die With a Smile' is Bruno's ninth #1 single on the chart and Lady Gaga's sixth.
"THANK YOU ALL! 🥂" Bruno wrote on Instagram. The 'When I Was Your Man' hitmaker says he feel motivated to record a new song to celebrate the milestone.
"I’m headed to the studio right now to make a strip club anthem so I can celebrate and properly act up this weekend. Someone please help me get in touch with Sexyy Red!!🙏"
'Die With a Smile' is not Bruno's only song in the top 10.
His collaboration with Blackpink's ROSÉ, 'APT.', remains #5 on the latest chart (dated January 25, 2025).

Both songs are also featured on the CTM Top 40 with Danny Painter. 'APT.' is #3 on the chart while 'Die With A Smile' is #19.
Chappell Roan's 'Hot to Go!' currently leads the chart.
'Die With a Smile' is nominated for two awards at the upcoming Grammys: 'Song of the Year' and 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance'.
The 67th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 2, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
