Chappell Roan is celebrating the success of her new song, 'The Giver'.

This week, the track debuted at No.1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.

"'The Giver' went #1 on @billboardcountry. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love this song so much," the 27-year-old said.

The song is also climbing up the Hot 100 chart. It debuted at #5, earning Roan her third top-10 song.

'Good Luck, Babe!' peaked at #4 while 'Pink Pony Club' reached #7.

'Hot to Go!' is also a hit on the CTM Top 40 with Danny Painter. It is currently at number five.

Roan co-wrote 'The Giver' with music producer Daniel Nigro.

"Honestly a better country song than 90% of what's on the radio right now, and I say that as a straight girl who adores classic country," a fan of the single wrote on YouTube.

Despite its success, Roan has no plans to ditch pop music for the country genre.

"I grew up listening to it every morning and afternoon on my school bus and had it swirling around me at bonfires, grocery stores and karaoke bars. Many people have asked if this means I'm making a country album.

"My answer is, hmm right now, I'm just making songs that make me feel happy and fun and 'The Giver' is my take on country," she said.

Meanwhile, Roan's next big song could be a collaboration with R&B singer SZA.

In an interview on the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast, she revealed that she would love to collaborate with the 'Snooze' singer on a song.

SZA, who is a big fan of Roan, responded to the interview on Instagram Stories.

"Didn't believe this quote when I saw it written till I saw it come out her mouth just now. Cause dead a** same. Pls, we must," she wrote.

Roan previously teamed up with Sabrina Carpenter, Elton John, Charli XCX and bbno$.

She's currently working on her second album, which has been dubbed 'CR2'.

The album does not yet have a title or release date, but the singer has already indicated that she is working on something special in the studio.

Her debut album, 'The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess', was wildly successful. It earned Roan her first-ever Grammy award for 'Best New Artist'.

'CR2' has big shoes to fill. However, she isn't putting any pressure on herself.

"There isn't much of an agenda with this next album. I plan to do what I have always done: write songs that I love, create music I'm proud of and share that with the world. Maybe I should have more of an answer of what my expectations are [with the album], but at this point, I just don't know," she told Variety in 2024.

Tune in to the CTM Top 40 with Danny Painter Saturdays from 10:00 – 14:00 to find out who's on top of the chart!
