David Guetta and Justin Bieber are dedicating this song '2U'
Updated | By Lee-Roy Wright
Music fans from around the world have been waiting a long time for this highly teased single and it's finally here!
We are totally here for this collaboration!
Justin Bieber has been dabbling within the EDM space quite heavily over the past few months. He joined forces with Jack U on ‘Where Are U Now’, DJ Snake on ‘Let Me Love You’ and Major Lazer on ‘Cold Water’. Now, the pop star has joined forces with arguably the greatest crossover act in dance music, David Guetta, on their upcoming single ‘2U’. The song serves as the lead single off David Guetta’s highly-anticipated seventh studio album which is rumoured to be released later this year.
The song reminds us a lot of ‘Cold Water’. Justin croons over a subtle beat in the verses which show off his smooth vocal before an epic drop. “When it comes to you there’s no crime, let’s take both of our souls and intertwine,” the singer sings in the chorus. “When it comes to you don’t be blind, watch me speak from my heart.”
Honestly, there’s nothing fresh or new on this song, but both artists are professional at their craft and have both delivered a fantastic performance. Despite maybe playing it a little bit too safe, it’s safe to say that this is going to be a massive hit over the next few months.
Justin has also been dominating the charts with his latest single such as 'Despacito'. So could this be another hit for the teenage heartthrob?
What do you think about this collaboration? Will you be adding it to your playlist?
