Drake is one of the biggest rappers on the planet.
He broke into the music industry in 2006 with his first mixtape, 'Room for Improvement'.
Two decades later, the superstar won four Grammy Awards and six American Music Awards. He has also won at the Billboard Music Awards, Brit Awards, and Juno Awards.
But the 'Closer to My Dreams' hitmaker says it has not been an easy journey.
Speaking to Nicki Minaj on Queen Radio Thursday night, the rapper said: "There’s a lot of pain in creating music and sharing it.”
Drake was discussing the possibility of retiring from music.
“I’m not at that point where I even consider that to be an option. One of the best feelings I have in my life is completing a song or a project and sharing it," he said.

Drake added that he is now on a new level in his music career.
“I feel like I’m reaching a point now where I’m reaching a new level of fun with this s**t. It’s comfort. I reached a new level of comfortability," he said.
He also spoke about his latest album, 'Honestly, Nevermind'.
"Even with the last album I put out, it was something I wanted to do to challenge myself and try something,” he told Nicki.
The album was released in June. It is the seventh studio album from the award-winning star.
Drake is also celebrating reaching a new milestone in his career.
He took to Instagram to celebrate becoming the first artist to earn 100 Top 20 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.
"Drake becomes the first artist in history to earn 100 Top 20 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 and breaks the all-time record for most top 5 hits among all artists in the Hot 100 history, surpassing The Beatles," reads the words on the shared image.
