The Drakensberg Boys Choir records a moving rendition of 'Smile’

The boys believe the song will inspire hope in South Africa as we fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Drakensberg Boys Choir are known for their unique sound and beautiful voices.
The boys have recorded a moving a cappella version of Charlie Chaplin’s ‘Smile’.
They believe that regardless of how tough things are in the world at the moment, a positive spirit will see us through.
“We thought this song perfectly captures the spirit of our human response to the pandemic, full of melancholy, yet extremely hopeful and positive,” the caption of their music video states.

The boys recorded the song in their homes using mobile phones.
