Three top popstars join 'Carpool Karaoke Christmas' special
Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa and Chappell Roan feature on a special holiday edition of 'Carpool Karaoke'.
'Carpool Karaoke' is celebrating the holidays with a Christmas special featuring Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa and Chappell Roan.
Apple TV+ will air a festive instalment of the popular sing-along series, which originally featured on 'The Late Late Show with James Corden'.
The final episode of 'Carpool Karaoke', featuring British singer Adele, aired in April 2023 after the show was cancelled.
'A Carpool Karaoke Christmas' brings back the magic of the segment with a bit of help from Apple Music's Zane Lowe. He takes over the driver's seat from James, who makes a small cameo in the special.
Zane joins Dua, Chappell and Gaga in singing classic Christmas songs such as 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas', 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town' and Wham!'s 1984 classic, 'Last Christmas'.
The women also sing some of their own songs. Lady Gaga belts out her 2024 hit, 'Die With A Smile', which currently features on the CTM Top 40 with Danny Painter.
Chappell sings, 'Good Luck, Babe!'. The track also features on the Top 40 chart.
"Fans can get into the holiday spirit with their favourite artists Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa and Chappell Roan, beginning December 16 and rolling out globally on December 20. 'A Carpool Karaoke Christmas”'is a seasonal celebration of the multi-Emmy Award-winning 'Carpool Karaoke: The Series,' which won an Emmy for five consecutive seasons along with multiple Producers Guild Awards and a Writers Guild Award. The series is produced for Apple by CBS Studios and Fulwell 73 Productions with executive producers James Corden, Ben Winston and Eric Pankowski," Apple TV said.
