Ed Sheeran on his latest collaboration with J Balvin

The two stars released 'Forever My Love' and 'Sigue' on Friday, 25 March. Ed Sheeran spoke to Apple Music about how the collaborations came about.
The biggest collaboration of 2022 has just landed. Ed Sheeran has collaborated with J Balvin to release two amazing songs, 'Sigue' and 'Forever My Love'.
Ed Sheeran revealed that their collaboration didn't come after a request from a record label.
He told Apple Music that the two of them met at a gym in New York and developed a friendship.
"We met in a health club and made pals first, after which afterward we began making music and it simply occurred very organically," Ed Sheeran told Apple Music.

He expressed his excitement about releasing the two songs.
"I am actually excited to place them out, and see what you folks suppose," he said.
Sheeran added that he had to learn Spanish as the songs are sung in the language.
"I discovered Spanish for them, which took some time. So I suppose that is my new occasion trick. Yeah, I suppose that is a talent that it reveals off," he said.
Ed Sheeran also spoke about a time J Balvin surprised him with a new iPad as a gift.
"I had an outdated iPad that I might had for some time. It had a smashed display I simply could not be bothered to switch. And José purchased me a brand new iPad, which was bizarre, after which hid it in a pizza field.
"I imply, it was very, very candy of him. And I’ve nonetheless received it now. It is truly simply down right here. However yeah, I bear in mind getting an iPad in a pizza field and pizza field for… Pizza for breakfast. However yeah, it was enjoyable," he said.
