Elton John assures fans "more music" is on the way

The 77-year-old singer may have lost some of his eyesight, but he hasn't lost his desire to make more music.
'I'm Still Standing' hitmaker Elton John has hinted that he plans to release more music.
The Grammy Award winner shared the news during a recent interview on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert'. Earlier this month, the singer mentioned that his eyesight problems have worsened.
The 77-year-old revealed in September that he was going blind in his right eye after contracting an infection in July. His left eye is also "not the greatest".
His blindness has affected his music as it has made it difficult for him to read lyrics in the studio. Speaking to Stephen, Elton says despite the challenges, he feels like the "luckiest man in the world".
"You will be getting some more. The juices have never dried up. They never want to dry up because I’m always looking to create things. It’s just having the space now to do it on my own time. Of course, there will be new Elton John music," the 'Rocket Man' singer said.
The EGOT winner stopped by the 'Late Show' to discuss his new documentary, 'Elton John: Never Too Late', and revealed the title's significance.
"Never too late to change your life, to make decisions that will make your life better. The documentary really documents my rise to fame from '70 to '75, culminating at Dodgers Stadium, where I had the most incredible success... It then goes to 47 years later at Dodgers Stadium, playing it again, where I have a family, children and a life that I love so much, which is so much more important than having a number one album," he said.
