Chris Brown was nominated alongside Robert Glasper in the 'Best R&B Album' category at the 65th Grammys on Sunday night in Los Angeles.

After Robert was announced as the winner, the ‘Loyal’ hitmaker took to Twitter to vent.

He started by congratulating the Jazz pianist for his win.

“Congratulations my brother,” Brown wrote.

He went on to say sorry for his actions.

“I would like to apologize if you took offense to my reaction at the Grammys. You were not the intended target and I know I came off really rude and mean.”

Brown revealed that he did research about the pianist, record producer, and songwriter, and found his work to be incredible.

“After doing my research I actually think you’re amazing,” he wrote.

However, the RnB singer said he feels the two of them were not supposed to be placed under the same category.

“The organization isn’t doing us Blacks our due diligence. You and I should never be in the same category… two totally different vibes and genres. So from one Black man to another, congratulations. Hope you are able to feed your family for life. God bless my G.”
