Joni Mitchell to make Grammy performance debut

Joni Mitchell is getting ready to serenade the audience at the Grammys for the very first time.
Canadian-American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Joni Mitchell, will be performing for the first time at the 2024 Grammys.
The singer took to Instagram to announce the exciting news.
"Don’t miss nine-time GRAMMY winner and past @MusiCares Person of the Year @jonimitchell’s first-ever #GRAMMYs performance!," she wrote on Instagram.

"Whoaaaa @jonimitchell on the Grammys?! What an absolute treat! I can’t wait to watch," wrote one user.
"Will be the only moment l watch!! A triumphant moment it will be!," another user commented.
Joni's performance comes after she was nominated for 'Best Folk Album' for 'At Newport'.
"Thrilled to announce that AT NEWPORT has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Folk Album!" Joni wrote on Instagram.
"A testament to the enduring legacy of Joni's music and the dedication of the Joni Jammers, @BrandiCarlile, @newportfolkfest, and to all those who listened this year," she wrote.

The album was released on 28 July 2023 by Rhino Records.
Previously, Joni has been nominated for 18 Grammys and has won nine.
In 2022, she won the 'Best Historical Album' award for 'Joni Mitchell Archives, Vol. 1: The Early Years (1963-1967)'.
The Grammys will take place on February 4.
The event will be held live at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Other performers at the Grammys will include Billie Eilsh, Billy Joel, Dua Lipa, Luke Combs, Burna Boy, Olivia Rodrigo, Travis Scott, and U2.
